Explore Medical, Dental and Vision Options

Delta offers three medical plan options for active employees, which all provide comprehensive coverage, including 100% coverage for in-network preventive care. You also have a choice of dental and vision options.

  • $0 for in-network preventive care
  • $0 for eligible specialty medications if enrolled in PrudentRx*
  • Consider if you want more predictable costs, have a high number of prescriptions or visit a specialist frequently
  • Copays for common services; $0 copays for telehealth, primary care and therapist visits
  • Consider if you expect moderate healthcare needs and want the tax benefits of an HSA
  • Consider if you expect minimal healthcare needs or have a large HSA balance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA): The IRS increased the HSA contribution limit for 2025, so you can save more on a pre-tax basis. Contribute up to $4,300/individual and $8,550 if covering at least one tax dependent. Age 55 or older? You can save an additional $1,000.
  • Delta Health Rewards (DHR): Those currently enrolled in an HSA medical option have until Dec. 31, 2024, to earn DHR for 2025.** DHR funding will remain the same for 2025 ($850 each for an employee and their covered spouse, or $1,300 for employee + child(ren) and $250 in child funding).

** You must be enrolled in an HSA medical option at the time of the DHR deposit to receive the reward.

If you are eligible for other medical options based on your job or work location, those benefits are highlighted on the OE HQ.

Don’t forget: If you are currently enrolled in a Delta medical plan option, you can earn up to $100 in Delta Wellness Rewards (DWR) by completing healthy activities by Dec. 31, 2024. Employees not enrolled in a Delta medical plan option can earn up to $500 in DWR.

Dental

You have two dental options to choose from: Basic and Comprehensive. We are enhancing the dental benefits with no changes to your premiums in 2025.

The Basic option

  • Preventive care paid at 100% (no deductible)
  • NEW! Full mouth X-rays covered under preventive care
  • Basic care paid at 70%
  • NEW! Major services such as crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays paid at 10%
  • $600 in annual benefits per person

The Comprehensive option

  • Preventive care paid at 100% (no deductible)
  • Basic care paid at 70% and major care paid at 50% after deductible ($60 per person/$240 per family)
  • NEW! Bone grafts paid at 50% under major care
  • $2,000 in annual benefits per person
  • Orthodontia up to $3,000 lifetime max per person

Vision

We’re also enhancing vision coverage in 2025. Your premiums will increase between $.57 – $1.67 monthly, depending upon the coverage tier you choose.

Administered by EyeMed, vision benefits cover annual eye exams, corrective lenses or contacts, and discounts such as:

  • An annual exam for only $10 from in-network providers
  • Benefits for frames and contacts
  • NEW! Eyeglass frames will be covered annually, instead of every 24 months
  • Discounts on extra eyeglasses and optional services

Use EyeMed benefits for in-network services and supplies at retail and online eyewear stores, including LensCrafters®, Target Optical® and ContactsDirect.
